1. Who we are

Safe Gas (Pvt) Ltd ("Safe Gas", "we", "us") supplies bulk LPG and transport logistics from Prospect, Waterfalls, Harare, Zimbabwe. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information through safegas.co.zw, the client portal, and our internal operations platform, in line with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12].

2. Information we collect

Account information: company name, contact email, and password (stored only as a secure hash).

KYC verification documents: company registration details, registered address, tax identifiers, and supporting documents you upload for account verification.

Transaction records: orders, transport bookings, quotations, invoices, receipts and payment references.

Job applications: applicant name, contact details and CV documents submitted through our careers page.

Delivery tracking: when a driver opens a trip tracking link, their device reports live location for the duration of that trip only. Tracking links expire automatically.

3. How we use it

To verify your business (KYC), fulfil orders and transport bookings, issue quotations, invoices and receipts, coordinate deliveries, respond to enquiries, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on secured servers with encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-restricted staff access, and an append-only audit log of staff actions on your records. Documents are only downloadable by the account that owns them and authorized staff.

5. Retention

We keep transaction and tax records for the periods required by Zimbabwean law. KYC documents are retained while your account is active and for the statutory period after closure. You may request deletion of data we are not legally required to keep.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to processing, by contacting info@safegas.co.zw. We will respond within the timelines set by the Data Protection Act.
